Attention Parents!
Media Materials Services for 2022-23
The Columbia County School District recognizes and understands that parents and guardians have an important role in determining their student's reading selections and media center use. Each family has the right to determine the appropriate library resources for their student. The school district strives to provide appropriate access to resources that consider student need, interest, the support of state academic standards, and curriculum alignment, as well as familial, cultural and personal points of view. The district has a duty to provide students free access to high-quality reading selections and to ensure the materials in our media centers align to state statutes. Please complete the following form to help us provide the appropriate experience and access for your student. If you have more than one student in the district, please complete a separate form for each child. If you do not wish to submit this form, or if it is not received by Aug. 19th, 2022, your student will default to Level 1, or open access, for checking out all media center materials. NOTE: You can still submit this form or update your child's status at any time during the school year.
